While Longines also developed many elegant and classic time-only watches during its history, the largest focus for complicated watches was on chronographs.įor instance, consider that Longines did not create any diver watches until the late 1950s, or watches with a moon-phase complication, in contrast to many of its contemporaries such as Universal Geneve or Jaeger-LeCoultre, to name a few.
